About The Knights of Saint Michael

Welcome to the Knights of St. Michael! This idea came to me from the Lord on Michaelmas 2025. The women in our Diocese have their prayer orders, being the Daughters of the King and the Daughters of the Holy Cross, but there is nothing to bring the men of the Diocese together for prayer, study, and service to the Glory of God.

Several things contributed to this movement of the Spirt. I read a fine article posted to Substack by Mark Marshall: What ACNA Needs Now: Warrior Bishops. Of course, he mentions the Lion of Fort Worth, our own Bishop Emeritus Iker, of blessed memory. Our Bishop Reed needs the support and encouragement of his clergy and people to be our Warrior now. Our Bishops and our Priests need our help to defend them from the assaults of the enemy and grow in zeal for our mission. This is where the Knights come in.

We men need a meaningful purpose to thrive in this world. We have heard too much of the negative voices accusing us of Toxic Masculinity, and Patriarchy like that is a bad thing. The Lord wants men to be the leaders of our families in healthy and positive ways, and we can do this by embracing Biblical Manhood.

Biblical Manhood means being responsible for our families, loving our wives, if we are so blessed, and teaching our children about the ways of the Lord. We are to be leaders in our Churches, as well, taking responsibility for activities that build up the Body of Christ. Our Churches need our leadership to evangelize a world that is becoming something that we do not recognize. There are great evils taking root in our society, and many of us feel helpless to fight them. Together, the Knights of St. Michael will support each other to grow in the Biblical Manhood created for us. This prayer might be perfect for the Knights.
